Assign construction units to positions to designate man hours and materials for installations, removals, and transfers. Populate an ESRI™ ArcGIS or GE Smallworld™ GIS with new electric, pipeline, and communication data through direct integration. Capture GPS positions of facilities and routes using laser rangefinders, or totalstations. Easily tailor multiple data dictionaries streamlining specific field processes and matching GIS or target system data.
Storm Assessment Manage the assignment, scouting, and reporting for a paperless assessment of storm damage to overhead or underground electric and communication facilities. Capture damage type and location in the field, optionally with GPS, using a data dictionary tailored to your service territory and crew types. Calculate estimated restoration hours based on actual assessment. Generate work packets for crews, reports and dashboards for management to quickly and accurately gauge the resources needed to restore service. Optionally integrate with Outage Management System (OMS) to load incidents and hazards from OMS, or to confirm outage predictions and estimated restoration time to OMS.
Built-In Map Distribution Allow field crews to view digital facility maps, query facility information, and navigate to specific facilities or locations. Integrate with Smallworld™ GIS or ESRI™ ArcGIS data to create detailed work plans for contract tree-trimming crews. After work is complete, return vegetation data to GIS to optimize vegetation management cycles and ensure that vegetation re-growth won’t be a problem before the next trimming cycle. Use the web portal to quickly print or email work manifests and summary reports for contract tree removal and trimming. Post-audit tree contractors' work to assure that vegetation management policy is followed and billing is accurate.
