Our software engineers are proficient in GE Smallworld Core Spatial Technology™ application development, system administration, and implementation of Smallworld™ products including Electric Office, Gas Distribution Office, Power On, Design Manager and SIAS. Furthermore, they have broad experience from initiation to production implementation including requirements gathering, data schema design and modeling, data conversion, database management, project management, scheduling and budgeting for our utility clients. Required skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience using the Magik programming language
- Expertise with GE Smallworld™ versions 3.3, 4.0 & 4.1 SWAF
- Expertise with Smallworld™ products; Design Manager, PowerOn, Electric Office, Gas Distribution Office or SIAS
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
- Willing to travel
- Experience with COM, .NET, and FME desired
- Experience with SynerGEE, CYME and/or WindMil is a plus

Sales territory is located within North America and travel is an essential part of the sales process.
